InvestEU: structure and financing (book contribution)
Two years after Dr. Bronger provided legal support on the first InvestEU transaction, and one year after the publication of an initial overview in the Europäische Zeitschrift für Wirtschaftsrecht (EuZW 2022, pages 885 et seq.), the collected volume “Droit bancaire et financier au Luxembourg” arrived today, fresh from the publisher.
Volume 3 contains, from page 1185 onwards, the most comprehensive analysis of InvestEU to date – from its origins through to the requirements for (project) financing under InvestEU. While the requirements for financing under InvestEU are extensive, they do enable financing and refinancing for companies and financial institutions that, without InvestEU, would have only very limited access to the financial market, or access on unattractive terms. An effort, therefore, that can be well worth it.
The collected volume is published every 10 years by the Luxembourg Association for Banking and Financial Law (ALJB – Association luxembourgeoise des juristes de droit bancaire).
