InvestEU: an overview of the EU’s new investment programme (EuZW)
InvestEU is the investment programme of the European Union’s current multiannual financial framework and the successor instrument to the European Fund for Strategic Investments (EFSI).
Under InvestEU, the European Investment Bank (EIB) closed its first project in Germany: a loan to hanova WOHNEN GmbH to support the construction of 640 social and affordable rental homes. InvestEU will profoundly shape the EU’s current funding period and strengthen the Union’s competitiveness – particularly in research, innovation and digitalisation.
